Police Begin Investigation As Kwara Hotel MD Found Dead In Room

The Kwara State Police command has started a discreet investigation into a suspected case of culpable homicide that resulted in the death of a hotel manager in Ilorin, the state capital, on Friday.
According to reports, the dead guy, identified as Adeniyi Ojo (male), the managing director of the Water View Hotel in GRA Ilorin, was discovered lifeless on a bed in one of the hotel’s rooms.
Okasanmi Ajayi, the state command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), claimed that an investigation of the deceased revealed no evidence of physical abuse.

The PPRO added that the deceased’s body had been transferred to a hospital where his death had been confirmed before being taken to the General Hospital mortuary in Surulere, Ilorin, for an autopsy.
The investigation’s specifics would be made public as soon as feasible, according to Okasanmi.
“One Kehinde Olaseinde “male,” the supervisor of the Water View Hotel, GRA Ilorin, reported a suspected instance of culpable homicide at A Division Ilorin yesterday, September 28, 2023, at around 1000 hours.

“A team of detectives dispatched to the scene were later joined by the Commissioner of Police, CP Victor Olaiya, 
“The deceased, one Adeniyi Ojo ‘male’, the managing director of the hotel was found lying motionless on the bed in one of the rooms in the hotel.
“The examination of the body shows no sign of physical violence. The body was taken to a hospital where he was confirmed dead, and was deposited at the general hospital mortuary Surulere for an autopsy.
“Meanwhile a discreet investigation of the case has been ordered by the Commissioner of Police.
“Details of the investigation will be made public as soon as possible”.
