In his trip to Zamfara State for consultation on his ambition for presidency, he noted that he is experienced and better equipped to oversea and manage the affairs of the nation. He noted that the reasons why he left PDP in 2015 are still prevalent in the ruling party, and “therefore, the leadership of the APC in the country must be challenged in order to make things work right.”
Recall that Tambuwal left the People’ Democratic Party in 2015 and joined All Progressive Congress to further his political objective. He later left APC in 2018.
“I left the PDP and joined APC in 2015 where we campaigned for Buhari because we thought that he had the potential to fight the insecurity issues and other challenges bedeviling the nation. But unfortunately, he cannot make things work as we expected.
“That was why I also decided to dump the APC and return my former party, the PDP in 2018,” he said.
