Loveline Obiji has won a silver at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in Japan, making it Nigeria’s sixth medal.
She won the medal in women’s +86g after lifting 147kg.
Her medal takes Nigeria to the 21st position on the medal table with three gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

Nigeria’s Folasade Oluwafemiayo also increased Team Nigeria’s medals haul at the ongoing 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo on Monday by winning the gold medal in the women’s -86kg event of the powerlifting competition
The 36-year-old won the event with a bang by setting a new world record, as well as Paralympic record wi9th a lift of 152kg.
