GUNMEN ABDUCTS TARABA LAWMAKER, BASHIR MOHAMMED

On Wednesday unknown gunmen abducted Barr. Bashir Mohammed, the member representing Nguroje Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly. 

According to a family source, the Chairman House Committee on Information was picked up from his residence behind Dr Jalo Eid prayer ground in Jalingo at about 1:45 am.

More information coming from the source suggests that during the duration of the operation, which is 3 hours, there was no interference from security agents of the state.
