How to Track Money on MoneyGram
MoneyGram tracking allows you to track your money from the sending point, all the way to its final destination, the recipient. This way, you can rest assured of your money’s safety.
When you send funds using MoneyGram, you are provided with a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). An MTCN is provided for every transaction you carry out, and you can share this MTCN with the recipient you already designated. This way, both the sender and the receiver can track the funds from their ends.
With MoneyGram tracking, you as the sender can track your MoneyGram transfer in its four stages. At the Pending stage, the transaction has been initiated while at the In Progress stage, the money is still being transferred to the recipient. At the Complete stage, cash is already awaiting the recipient and at the Picked Up stage, the recipient has collected the money.
As the recipient, you can do MoneyGram tracking by using the MTCN code that the sender has shared with you. All you have to do is visit the MoneyGram website, enter the MTCN and your surname, and click the ‘Track’ button. You will be given updates on the status of your funds and informed on whether your money is ready for pick up or not.
