Wife of the embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, slumped at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The incident occurred on Monday, shortly after Justice Emeka Nwite deferred the ruling on applications that DCP Kyari be released on bail pending the determination of the case against him and six others.
Ramatu Yakubu Kyari fainted and hit the floor as the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency were leading Kyari and his co-defendants away from the court premises.
After she slumped, Mrs Kyari was quickly carried and rushed into one of the offices in the premises by lawyers and officials of the NDLEA for medical attention.
Meanwhile, after she was resuscitated, Mrs Kyari later came out of the office and was assisted by some close relatives and friends.

While she was receiving medical attention, the NDLEA officers waited for Kyari outside the court premises for several minutes.
Furthermore, Justice Nwite adjourned bail application of Kyari and others until March, 28.
The judged also ruled that Kyari and his men should be remanded in the custody of the NDLEA pending the determination of the matter.
Kyari was arraigned on eight counts bordering on conspiracy, obstruction, dealing in cocaine, and other related offences.
The other defendants in the charge marked FHC/ABJ/57/2022, are four members of the Police Intelligence Response Team, Sunday J. Ubia, Bawa James, Agirigba Simon and John Nuhu.
