Celebrity dancer, Korra Obidi, has finally spoken up regarding reports of divorce with her American husband, Justin Dean.

Dean had posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, March 10, that he’ll be divorcing the Nigerian dancer.

Dean disclosed that he’s tried everything to make his marriage to Obidi work but all efforts have proved abortive.

“Korra Obidi and I are getting a divorce. It is over! I would not be treated this way any longer.

“I did my absolute best to make it work.

“I did not want this, I did my best, my heart is broken. I supported her, loved her and I don’t deserve the way I was treated,” his post read.

The post was initially dismissed by fans as a mere prank until Dean released a follow-up post on his Instagram Stories that reads “Not a joke.”

This is coming as a surprise as the couple just welcomed their second child together.

Korra has now reacted to the divorce story via a post on her Instagram page where she thanked her fans for the support in this trying time.

She revealed that she’s only committed to taking care of herself at the moment for the of her new baby girl – ‘Athena’

Korra said: “So, I’m going to be 100% committed to taking care of my newborn and myself.

“When mama is good, the baby is good, thank you all for reaching out and everything, I honestly don’t know what I’ll do without your support.

“I hope that me finding the strength to come up here will make you happy.”

Korra and Dean got married in 2018 and have given birth two children.
