CEO, Jack Dorsey shows support for Nigerian youths as they fight to end police brutality, and he calls for bitcoin donations to the cause.
Jack also showed support to the feminist group, Feminist coalition – they have been providing legal aid and taking care of the welfare of the protesters – by endorsing some of its members through verifying their twitter accounts.
This support is one of the numerous call from both international celebrities and organizations alike for the Nigerian government to heed the cries of the youth and put an end to police brutality in the country.
The IG of police recently announced the formation of a new special weapon and tactical unit, SWAT, in place of the recently disbanded SARS group.
This led the youths to a new call to #EndSWAT.
