Going by the history of the tie, most football followers have predicted an enthralling encounter tonight.
Egypt Coach, Carlos Quiroz, has caught the figure of a controversial man among most Cameroonians with his criticism of their legend and current President of Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto’o Phils.
While motivating his players, Eto’o had urged them to approach tonight’s game as if it’s a war.
Quiroz in his reaction described the comment as insensitive considering that eight Cameroonians reportedly died following a stampede that occured during their Quarter-final game against Comoros.
How Cameroon and Egypt got to semi final
Cameroon have enjoyed a relatively smooth run in the competition so far with four wins out of five games. They topped their group with two victories against Burkina Faso (2-1) and Ethiopia (4-1) before drawing 1-1 against Cape Verde in the last game.
